Q: What is "companion care"? A: Comapnion care includes safety monitoring, light housekeeping, meal preparation and planning, errands, assisting client with daily living activities, transportation to doctor appointments. | Q: What is personal care? A: Personal care includes activities such as grooming, bathing, toileting,ambulation, medication reminders, assistance in dressing. | Q: Whis is included in light housekeeping? A: Light housekeeping consists of vacuuming, laundry, light dusting, cleaning counters before and after meal preparation, making beds, changing linens, watering indoor plants. Housekeeping duties will not include heavy lifting, moving furniture, outdoor maintenance, yard care, pet care, cleaning garages or patios. | Q: Is there a charge for mileage? A: We do not charge for mileage, that is already included in your quoted rate for service. We do not provide transportation outside of Orange County. | Q: Is there an extra charge for holidays? A: Caregiver services that fall on holidays are 1.5 x the quoted rate.( So time and a half) | Q: Who do I submit payment to? And what forms of payment are accepted? A: Payment must be submitted by clients either through the mail or online. Caregivers are never authorized to accept payment. They are paid directly by us for their services. Acceptable forms of payment are as follows: Personal Check, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Visa, Mastercard. We have just added paypal as a method of payment, with this you can use ATM or credit cards to submit payment online. | Q: Who do I submit payment to? And what forms of payment are accepted? We have just added paypal as a method of payment, with this you can use ATM or credit cards to securely submit payment online. Q: How does billing occur? A: Billing occurs on a weekly basis. We require that you submit a deposit equal to 1 week of service. This deposit can be applied to your final payment or will be refunded at the end of service. After that, payment is pre-payed on a weekly basis. A new invoice for the following service week will be mailed the week before. Pre-payment insures that there is no interuption in service and avoids any late fees that may incur otherwise. We charge a $25 returned check fee. Q: Who should I call if a problem should arise or if I have any questions regarding my service? A: We are in the office M-F 9am-5pm. Our office number is 949-623-8367. And if you need to speak to someone after business hours,we will provide you with a 24 hour service number at the commencement of service.
